As we extend kindness and compassion to others, let's prioritize our own well-being with the same dedication. Consider these empowering questions:

Would I offer a supportive friend the same kindness I'm showing myself?

What words of encouragement would I share with someone feeling as I do?

What self-care do I need in this moment - rest, reassurance, or action?

Can I acknowledge and accept my humanity, embracing my imperfections as a natural part of growth and evolution?

Let's talk about relaxation! Something we struggle to truly reach in our chaotic world. The vagus nerve is the longest and most important nerve in the parasympathetic nervous system — the system responsible for calming the body, aiding digestion, and promoting relaxation.

Here are a few things you can do to activate that nerve:
- Breathe deeply and slowly making sure you are using your diaphragm. It's the exhale that activates the nerve.
- Splash cold water on your face or finish your shower with cool water.
- Hum or sing!

Try a few to see how effective they are for you. Have an amazing, relaxing day!
