Beau has joined the party! He has started his 2 week board and train with me today. Our main focus will be reactivity, overexcitement, some nipping behaviors, public manners and becoming a well behaved young man.
The down command has been one that Remy has struggled with in the past. When we first started to introduce the “down” I could see Remy would often anticipate punishment when told to “down”. Reworking this command using play has made a huge difference in shifting his perspective of it.

Give Remy a big welcome, he has started his two week board and train with me! We will be focusing on confidence building, leash manners and being able to recover quicker after stressful events. He will be on his way to do therapy work in the future!
Tucker goes home tomorrow! He has done great with his obedience training and more importantly, his ability to choose calm! Here is the progress that he has made with fetch— still occasionally needing to enforce “drop it” with spatial pressure. Catching the frisbee will come next 😂
We have been working on confidence building with strange objects. Tucker hesitated getting on the log for about 5 minutes before there was more effort. At that point I am more happy to give a little assistance. By the time we moved to the second long there was hardly any hesitation!
Today at Home Depot, Tucker and I practiced his implied stay and come command around slightly bigger distractions!

Took a little hiatus from social media but we are back and excited to introduce Annie Mae! This sweet girl began her 1 week board and train with me today. Her focus will be learning all of the essentials for her to be a calm, confident and well mannered young lady. 🐶
