"The course is beautiful but more challenging than people realize because of the altitude. It’s just hard not to soak up the atmosphere in the canyon and then with everybody cheering you into town," said Steven Boyton, Marathon winner.

Steven is having himself quite a spring -- Steven also won the Platte River Half Marathon and Buckhorn Exchange Relay in April. 🤯

He's now the 2026 Road Runners Club of America Colorado State Champion for both the Marathon AND Half-Marathon!
