Purposd
Live with Purpose. Helping people find balance, healing, and purpose through spirit, soul, and body alignment—because intentional growth changes everything. 🙌🏽
Part 1 - Before exhausting yourself trying to conquer every problem, ask God:
“Is this my assignment—or simply something happening around me?”
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”
— Isaiah 30:21 NIV
God will show you which mountain requires your feet—and which one requires your faith.
Report here for praise and worship this morning and to declare and decree over your life with one of my favorites 🙌🏽🙏🏽😭
What's up purposd community I'm finally back with the part 2 of let's be honest ...this Wednesday let's do a quick exercise 📝 and comment one thing you were able to move to a different column

Think about this for a second and check out the part 2 video later ....🧐
Before you reach for your phone…reach for God.
Before notifications tell you who needs you, let God remind you who you are.
Before you absorb everyone else’s opinions, problems, accomplishments, and expectations, give your mind a moment to receive truth.
Your phone is not the enemy—but what you reach for first often determines what leads your thoughts next.
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.”
— Psalm 143:8 NIV
Try this before scrolling tomorrow:
Give God five quiet minutes.
Read one Scripture.
Tell Him honestly how you feel.
Ask what deserves your attention today.
Write down one faithful next step.
You don’t need the perfect morning routine.
You just need one intentional moment that reminds your spirit, soul, and body:
The world does not get access to me before God does.
Five minutes may seem small—but what leads your morning can influence your entire day.

Chemistry can make one good night feel like proof that everything is finally changing.
The conversation flows.
The attraction is strong.
They say exactly what you’ve been waiting to hear.
For a moment, all the inconsistency disappears.
Then the moment ends.
The calls become unpredictable again.
Plans remain uncertain.
The promises sound beautiful—but the pattern stays the same.
Chemistry tells you how strongly you connect in a moment.
Consistency reveals whether the connection is safe enough to build a life around.
“By their fruit you will recognize them.”
— Matthew 7:16 NIV
Today’s action:
Stop evaluating the relationship by its best moments.
Look honestly at the last 30 days:
Did their words match their actions?
Did they follow through?
Could you communicate without guessing?
Did the relationship produce peace—or repeated confusion?
Attraction matters.
But attraction without consistency can keep you emotionally attached to a future that their present behavior is not building.
Believe the pattern—not only the promise.
September won’t become different just because the calendar did.
A new month can give you another opportunity—but it cannot make the decision for you.
You can write new goals while protecting old habits.
Pray for change while resisting the discipline change requires.
Ask God for direction while repeatedly ignoring the last instruction He gave you.
A new date does not automatically create a new life.
But one surrendered decision can begin changing your direction.
“Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Give careful thought to your ways.’”
— Haggai 1:5 NIV
Before you rush into September asking God to bless everything you want to accomplish, pause and ask:
“What needs to change in me?”
Maybe you need to become more consistent.
Have the conversation you keep avoiding.
Leave what God already told you to release.
Start before you feel completely ready.
Or stop making excuses for something you know is holding you back.
God’s grace has carried you into another month—not so you can condemn yourself for where you fell short, but so you can respond differently with the opportunity in front of you.
Choose one thing you’ve been saying you’ll do “soon.”
Take one real step today.
Let September become the month your actions finally agree with your prayers.
New month.
Fresh grace.
Different choices.
Heal. Grow. Become. 🤎
Overwhelm can make everything feel equally urgent.
Your thoughts race.
Your body becomes tense.
Your prayer life turns into a list of emergencies.
And because you don’t know where to begin, you may shut down completely.
But you don’t have to solve your entire life today.
You can care for the part of you that needs support right now.
Three Responses
🌸 Spirit:
Spend five quiet minutes with God before consuming more information. Don’t begin with a perfect prayer. Simply say:
“God, this is what feels too heavy for me…”
🌸 Soul:
Write down everything occupying your mind. Then separate it into:
* What requires my attention today
* What can wait
* What is outside my control
🌸 Body:
Drink some water, step outside and take a short walk—or sit still and take five slow breaths. A regulated body can help you approach the problem more clearly.
📖 Biblical Truth
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28 NIV
Jesus didn’t say, “Come back when you have everything under control.”
He said, “Come to Me.”
☀️ Your action step:
Choose only one response—spirit, soul or body—and complete it within the next ten minutes.
You don’t need to fix everything at once.
You need one faithful next step.
The fast may be over—but don’t pick back up everything God helped you put down. 🙏🏽
Thank you to everyone who joined the Purposd Community Fast. Now ask yourself: What did God reveal—and what discipline will you continue?
The fast ended. The transformation didn’t. 🌱
❤️💞❤️
Your body is in bed…
But your mind is still working.
Replaying what happened.
Preparing for what might happen.
Trying to solve tomorrow with tonight’s exhausted thoughts.
You keep calling it “thinking things through,” but at some point, it becomes carrying a shift God never asked you to finish.
You have prayed.
You have done what you could.
The unanswered part still belongs to God.
“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.”
— Psalm 4:8 NLT
Tonight’s wind-down:
Put the phone facedown.
Unclench your jaw.
Take three slow breaths.
Then whisper:
“God, I release what I cannot resolve tonight. Guard my mind while I rest, and meet me with fresh grace tomorrow.”
You don’t need every answer before you close your eyes.
Sometimes faith looks like ending the day without knowing how everything will end—and trusting that God remains awake when you finally let yourself sleep.
Rest. God still has it. 🤎
