If you are looking for something to do on October 14th, stop looking. Come to Hillsboro IL and join us for a scenic 1 mile, 5K, or our Challenge race that offers the beauty of the lakes and the forest in the country. Feeling festive? Wear your Halloween costume to compete in and build your own bag of candy when you finish. This is all for fun and good for the family as well as those true racers. Then stay in town and enjoy the small town experience with great food at some of our local hot spots and a great drink from our local breweries after the races.

I apologize for my time away and hope all are doing well. I know the last year to year things have been interesting to say the least. Now that things are starting to normalize it is the perfect time to get back into building a healthier you. A little exercise whatever that might be will help you both mentally and physically. Ever wonder why as soon as we bump your elbow, knee, shin, or toe we immediately grab it and rub it?
The mechanical stimulation signals receptors in our skin that will override the pain signals. AKA. The more you move and rub the area, the less pain you feel. So the saying, "Walk it off" truly is the best thing to do.
