Fitech... out!
Holley... in!
Only way to go! Ditch the carb or ditch the cheap fuel injection!
In this case, we yanked the fitech off and swapped to Holley!
However, first for everything we did encounter a bad iac wiring issue internally, but luckily Summit was on top of things and 2nd day aired us a brand new replacement unit!
Rounding home on this swap! Some final touches and it'll be road ready!

Kicking the idea of expanding, with this dyno coming I'm hoping to be able to gear more towards tuning than mechanic work / swapping.
With that being said I can always use an extra set of hands as I can only get so much work done a day solo!
This isn't a guarantee but would like to discuss a possible hire with anyone interested.
Pm me if interested and let's talk!
Got some polishing to do on front runner / fuel rails, and pinstriping valve covers white to match outside, in final assembly on this k5 ls swap!

Summer coming fast! Don't wait till last minute to get on schedule for some vintage air!
Also get on schedule for any wiring, efi conversions and much more!
Finally talked this customer into ditching the FITECH and going with HOLLEY, he'll never turn back now!
Don't let anyone talk you into getting fitech or aces or any other cheap aftermarket junk! Go with quality!
Love a good k10!
5.3/th350 P59 pcm. Always a blast tuning these, however there's always a downfall to using the non electric transmissions with factory pcm. Without a speed sensor there are several tables you lose.
You lose the range sensor, (pcm doesn't know if in park or drive) this can allow the throttle to dip when going from park to drive.
You also lose a speed sensor unless installing an aftermarket one. Losing this can also make throttle dip when coming to a stop because you lose some of the seperate airflow tables (specifically green/blue DBW pcm)
Also a tight converter can make the throttle dip a lot more dramatic.
Recommended if wanting to use a mechanical transmission or older manual to use a p01 (Red/blue) if wanting to keep the factory style pcm.
HOLLEY IS ALWAYS BETTER 😂🤘🏻
