I think it’s time to reintroduce myself!!

If you don’t know me, I’m Angela (or Angie to most) and I live in Central Mississippi. I have lived all over the state from Philadelphia to Ocean Springs and Biloxi before settling in Clinton then Raymond and Cleveland before settling back down here in Rankin County.

I have 3 cats, I crochet, i minored in ceramics in college, I love to travel, I enjoy spending time with family and friends when I can. I find beauty and joy in the small details around me, like new buds in the spring, the way clouds look different every day, the differences between sunset and sunrise in the different seasons, and the way light catches every day objects. I am extremely detail oriented, I have adhd, I love trying new ideas and collaborating with others.

I love being a photographer because I am able to capture precious memories and life events for people. I am able to use my skills to help my community by donating my time to local fundraisers. I am able to create art and connect with so many people that I may not have met otherwise. The look on clients faces when they see their day, their family, or themselves through my eyes makes everything worth it. I love what I do and I hope I can connect with you and capture those special moments!

Can’t believe it’s already been a month!

Ready for the rest of wedding season!

The devils in the details…..

I truly cannot wait to share more from this beautiful day! The details, the florals, and of course the bride and groom all looked breathtaking. Being part of the memories of someone’s love story is an indescribable feeling.

We saw about four families of turkeys in one field before the rain. It was amazing to see

Far on the mountain

When we visited Cades Cove, we went a bit later in the day and there was rain moving in so we only saw two bears in the two loops that we did, but it was surreal to see the bears up close (by close I mean quite far)

I will definitely make plans to travel again in a better season to see the bears!

The view from the cabin

Much of the area felt like Mississippi. The sparseness of the wintering trees, the way places were spaced out and close together at the same time. The kindness of all the people I interacted with….but the winding of the mountain roads, the way you would be far below the mountain for a few minutes and then closer to the clouds the next….the mountains have been calling my name for a long time but I didn’t know how much I needed them until this trip, the view. It may have been my first trip to the area, but it certainly won’t be my last
