Money isn’t just about dollars and possessions. According to Jesus, it reveals who—or what—is ruling our hearts.

In Matthew 6:24, Christ teaches that no one can serve two masters. Wealth can be a useful tool, but it makes a terrible god. The real issue isn’t how much money you have. The issue is whether Jesus is your greatest treasure.

This message challenges us to ask:
• What do I value most?
• What would I hate most to lose?
• Where does my mind naturally go when I am free to think?

The answers reveal where our treasure truly is.

Join us as we explore Christ’s call to wholehearted devotion and discover why He is the Pearl of Great Price—worth more than all the wealth of this world.

O My Soul, Arise [Official Lyric Video] 04/21/2026

Charles Wesley, brother of John Wesley, wrote this hymn in 1742.

It perfectly, and beautifully sums up everything we have been learning in The Book of Romans on Wednesday night, especially chapter 8.

Verse 1: Calls the soul to rise and shake off guilt.

Verse 2-3: Focuses on Christ’s blood, his wounds, and his intercession on behalf of the sinner.

Verse 4-5: Describes the believer's reconciliation with God, the Holy Spirit’s testimony, and the adoption of the believer as a child of God.

Give it a listen.
