At 4 years old, she's house-trained, crate-trained, knows her manners, loves other dogs, enjoys car rides, and is always ready for the next adventure. Whether it's hiking, playing with dog friends, chasing a hose, or romping through the snow, Mavi is happiest when she's active and engaged.

Mavi is looking for an energetic family take make her vibe. She'd love a large male dog companion, does well with older kids, and is ready to travel from her foster home in Sturbridge, MA to find her perfect match.

What a beautiful day BarkFest 2026 turned out to be!

We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, donated, participated, and supported this incredible event. BarkFest is always one of our favorite days of the year, and this year's event was truly special.

One of the best parts of BarkFest is seeing so many people come together because they share a passion for animals. Whether this was your first time hearing about our organization, you're a longtime supporter, adopter, foster, or volunteer, seeing everyone gathered together enjoying such a wonderful day is what makes this event so meaningful.

This adorable 15-pound pug is 7 years old and has officially started her BEST chapter yet after making the journey from Mountain City, Tennessee to Eleventh Hour Rescue in New Jersey. 🏡✨

☀️ The weather forecast says sunny... but around here, it's raining cats. 🐱🌧️

Welcome to kitten season!

Every day we receive dozens of calls and texts about orphaned kittens and pregnant mama cats needing help. Those tiny orphan babies require bottle feedings every 2 hours during their first few weeks of life, and many need medical care along the way because they're especially vulnerable to illness.

After weeks of feeding, cleaning, monitoring, and weaning, they eventually head to the vet for vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, and everything else needed to prepare them for adoption.

Last year, we took in about 250 kittens, with most arriving between April and September. Last week alone, 17 kittens went in for intake vetting. This week? 12 more.
