Beloved husband, father & grandfather. Cherished cousin and uncle. A compassionate man who wanted the best world possible for his granddaughter. A voracious intellectual who never stopped learning. He loved his cats, music, and creating things, and would share his passions with anyone willing to listen. He died peacefully at home with his wife, son, and kitties by his side.

Visitation is Thursday, August 11, from 4pm to 8pm at Fieser Funeral Home, 401 Gravois Rd. Fenton,Mo. 63026.

Here it comes! Our Great Big Out With A Bang Sale! As you know, the flooding this summer took its toll on the Cobblestone Cupboard, and we need to sell off our inventory. Starting on Thursday this week, and running through Sunday, we will be selling off our inventory with some fantastic discounts. Cash only, and all sales are final. Hours for the sale are:

Thursday: 12 Noon to 7pm
Friday: 12 Noon to 7pm
Saturday: 10am to 5pm
Sunday: 12 Noon to 4pm

Twenty years put mostly into one container. Thank you to everyone who helped us get everything cleaned out - the people who hauled the first loads to storage, those that took quilts and fabric to wash, those that took machines and pieces to clean and repair, those that moved junk, packed boxes, hauled stuff to the mobile mini, who cleaned, who fed us, and those that called to voice support. I'm devastated right now, exhausted, but so thankful for good family friends. Carol Carney and Bert Carney couldn't have gotten through this without all of you. (From Justin)

No quilting related, but neat. The Lion, Tiger, Bear are likely, or at least possibly, real. The Big cat and the bird i suspect are photo shopped, but neat anyway.

Here are the Anita Goodesign Club Sample projects for July 2014. I forgot to add this update to Facebook before the July 12 meeting. I think everyone enjoyed the Video this month, and the projects should be useful and fun.

Anita Goodesign Projects. Quillow -You will make the plaid blocks to make the pillow of the quillow. The other two are the Easter Pot Holder and the Seed Packet to add to spring decorations.

Tomorrow, Thursday Mar 27, starts the Quilt Shop Hop. I'm already pooped. We've all worked hard to make some changes we think improves the shop. The most fun time each year. Hundreds of happy and "up" folks.
Should have LOTS of winners again this year. Theme relates to Vacation places, and We Are Disney World. WooHoo.
