The Ferndale Inclusion Network seeks to create a just and racially equitable Ferndale (Michigan) that embodies a culture of inclusion and belonging for all by:
• advocating for policies that are transparent and accountable to the community;
• learning about and reckoning with our racial history;
• expanding our community's understanding of systemic racism;
• centering lived experiences;
• amplifying the voices and issues of racial justice;
• shifting our individual and collective behavior.

Hey Ferndale, we wanted to share a heads up that on Tuesday, May 26, the City Council will select a candidate to fill the vacant position on Council. We at FIN encourage candidates that actively uphold and support the city's commitment to anti-racism - it is perhaps more important now than ever. We encourage folks to share your opinions with sitting councilmembers and the mayor before Tuesday's meeting. Link to candidate bios in the comments.
