Because their family partnered with us, these two will soon be spayed/neutered, fully vetted, vaccinated, and microchipped, giving them a healthier, safer future and helping prevent even more unwanted litters in our community.

To help set them up for success, we're also providing them with crates, cozy dog beds, food, toys, harnesses, and martingale collars—giving them everything they need to thrive.

Our Adopt a Mushroom, Save a Pup fundraiser takes place in our private Facebook community, Help Us Help Them Dog Rescue Fundraising Group.

Inside the group, you'll discover every handcrafted mushroom, each with its own unique name, magical backstory, adoption donation, measurements, and all of its adoptable mushroom friends waiting to find their forever gardens.

Our fundraiser ends June 30th, so don't wait too long—once the season ends, these one-of-a-kind mushrooms are gone until next year.

One of our Help Us Help Them Dog Rescue directors found this sweet girl near 8 Mile & Livernois about an hour ago, and we're hoping to reunite her with her family as quickly as possible.

She appears to be a female Husky/Terrier mix, approximately 1 year old. She is incredibly sweet, friendly, and is currently safe with us.

Unfortunately, she was found without a collar and does not have a microchip.

If you believe she is your dog, please send our page a message immediately. Proof of ownership will be required before she is reunited with anyone.

Tonight we're excited to officially introduce our brand-new Four Elements Collection and more than 25 newly released handcrafted mushrooms that have just been added to our Adopt a Mushroom, Save a Pup Fundraiser benefiting Help Us Help Them Dog Rescue.

Inspired by Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, each mushroom is completely one-of-a-kind and handcrafted by our volunteers. No two are ever exactly alike, and once a mushroom is adopted, it's gone forever.

🚨 As a special Father's Day thank you, we're taking $5 off every available mushroom now through Monday at 11:59 PM. 🚨

For more than two years, Charlie has been waiting patiently for a family of her own.

While countless other dogs have come and gone through rescue, Charlie continues to watch from the sidelines, wondering when it will finally be her turn.
We honestly don't understand how she's been overlooked for so long.

At just 3 years old and around 40 pounds, Charlie is the perfect mix of German Shepherd intelligence and Husky spirit wrapped up in one adorable package. With her stunning mismatched eyes, goofy smile, and playful personality, she has a way of making everyone she meets fall in love.

Charlie is the kind of dog who wakes up excited for whatever adventure the day brings. Whether it's a walk through the neighborhood, a hike in the woods, a trip to the park, or simply playing with her favorite toys in the backyard, she is happiest when she's spending time with her people and canine friends.

She is affectionate, social, and loves being part of the action. Charlie enjoys meeting new people, making new dog friends, and soaking up all the love and attention she can get. After a day of fun and play, she's more than happy to curl up nearby and relax with her family.

Our good friends at Second Chances Animal Resources, Inc. have sponsored and installed a brand-new microchip scanning station at Ferndale City Hall, and we couldn't be more excited!

This is a huge win for the pets and families of Ferndale and exactly the kind of resource our community needed. A microchip can mean the difference between a lost pet spending days, weeks, or even months away from home and being reunited with their family quickly and safely.

🚨🐦 URGENT TRANSPORT NEEDED FOR AN INJURED BABY ROBIN : Please Share 🐦🚨
This little nugget needs a ride to safety as soon as possible.

📍 Current Location: 14 Mile & Main, Clawson
📍 Destination: 15 Mile & Kelly, Clinton Township

If you're getting off work in the Clawson area or happen to be heading toward Clinton Township this evening, we would be incredibly grateful for your help transporting this baby robin to a wildlife rehabilitator.
This youngster appears to have an injured leg and was thankfully rescued before dogs could get to him. He's currently safe and awaiting transport, but the sooner he can get to rehab, the better.
