I’ve been doing a bit of tweaking in our main living areas…I realized I haven’t share much of my home interior lately so I thought I’d share some pictures with you. Beware lotsa photos 😃

You will see in these pictures..where I have placed and used some of my collection of Longaberger baskets…when I moved to Michigan in the early 90s they were the rage..and I’ve always loved baskets. For a time I had stored them away and recently decided I needed to put what I love out and incorporate them into my home…if you look there are probably close to 40 baskets throughout my kitchen and living room…can you see them?

Does anyone following me collect Longaberger anymore? I’ve actually been snagging a few additional ones at my local thrifting store..for a steal!

I also collect and have been gifted many Pioneer Woman’s kitchen ware in the Vintage floral pattern. I absolutely love the colors of blues and reds in my recently remodeled kitchen.

So what is your decorating style?
I think I finally figure it out for me…I love old and new, I’m nostalgic and an old soul…I have many collections, love thrifting, baskets and of course roses…SO…I recently heard the coined phrase collected vintage decor..and that fits me to a T!

Yesterday I finished the darling stacked pumpkins on the right…so many goodies in my shop for a pink shabby fall…

I know I do a lot of pink..

BUT🎃🎃🎃…I also paint many goodies in seasonal colors as well…these two pictures are of my fall pumpkin paintings are in a more subtle traditional color pallet…think of how pretty these pictures look on a wall or could be set on a shelf as well in a plate holder on a side table with a sweet fall vignette…oh the possibilities are endless…

What a cute idea!

I bet you have some beautiful lace tucked away just waiting for a new purpose! 🤍

This vintage-inspired pumpkin is created by simply gathering three rows of wide cotton eyelet lace and layering them right onto a canvas. No fancy sewing skills required—just a simple running stitch, a little hot glue, and let the ruffles do their thing. Don’t worry about making every pleat perfect… the more natural they are, the prettier your pumpkin will be!

I can’t wait to see what lace you decide to use. Would you make yours in cream, white, tea-stained, or maybe even with vintage linens?
