In honor of celebrating 250 years of our great country…I decided to create and decorate just a little bit more this year. I have used loads of flags and found several free vintage patriotic images and had some fun creating items just for me.

Good afternoon…

Well I just realized it’s been a few days since I popped in here…been doing a bit of closet organizing/cleaning and some Patriotic decorating and creating a few items for me…I don’t usually do a lot in that genre…but I could be persuaded 🥰♥️🤍💙

I found this adorable print in the free domain…and made this for myself…aren’t those little girls adorable?

Who knew a simple sour dough starter of 1/2 cup of water and flour..can be added to so much that we bake?

Last week I decided to pull out a starter I had put in my fridge for most of last a year…my sister has become so well versed in everything sourdough…so with her encouragement I decided to give it a try…this time I did an little reading and created a board on Pinterest…to gather info and recipes…totally blown away at how many items I can add this to or make from the discard…like cheese crackers,! That’s next…Who knew, right?

Last week I baked that yummy loaf taking the recipe from a sweet southern gal I watch on you tube..Frannie Jo Savvy Sweet…look her up if you enjoy down home cooking and southern charm…

Today I made this spiced banana bread..added chocolate chips on the top..I’m sure it won’t be around too long…

Did I tell y’all…I actually love to bake as it’s another creative outlet for me…

As a creator and artist…sometimes I have an item but no vision yet…this elevated egg sat for quite some time before I finally got an inspiration…I know a little late for spring decor..but..over the past several weeks I have been painting some sweet bluebirds in my rose creations…and thought to myself…why don’t I add a bluebird to my egg…then I was stumped on how to tie it all together…then yesterday it all came together 💕💕💕
