"Last night's speech at the NATAS NW Emmy Awards left some sentiments unspoken. From a young age, since I was nine, I was surrounded by individuals who fueled my passion for this work. Heartfelt thanks to my childhood mentors, role models, and family for their unwavering support in my dreams and goals. They showed me the vital importance of authenticity, and because of that guidance, I've strived always to be my true self. Their influence shaped my journey and gave me the courage to pursue my visions.

Upon college graduation, I excitedly joined King 5 News, thinking I was in the heart of the news. It was the channel my family watched, and I was working alongside Joyce Taylor, which was incredibly thrilling. However, it took only a short while to realize that this specific environment of media might not align with my aspirations. Despite the initial excitement, I felt something was missing, and a new direction was calling me. My experiences there guided me to a turning point.

Throughout my life, I've lost family members, including my father and grandmother, but she appeared in an Emmy Award-winning video before she passed. This win is a tribute to them and to all the loved ones who have poured into me. It's for the community that nurtured me, and to my Converge Media family of eight years. Also, to my sons who witness me living my dreams, and to my grandson, Zahir Bevan Holiday. They're the inspiration and motivation for my continued dedication.

We often speak of legacy, but it is created daily by those around us witnessing our journey. This thought constantly guides me, and I'm deeply thankful to God, my family, community, and this region for accepting Trae Holiday. I can only be my genuine self, and this achievement belongs to all of us. Living authentically is not just a personal choice; it's a shared experience that resonates with everyone who supports the journey. Thank you so much to all my viewers and supporters. I do this for you!" - Trae Holiday 06/09/2025

Listen Carefully: Kongrotiev waves are long-term cycles of economic and social development that span about 40 to 60 years. They are named after Nikolai Kondratiev, a Soviet economist who first identified them in the 1920s. According to the theory, each wave consists of four phases: expansion, stagnation, recession, and depression. These phases correspond to different levels of innovation, investment, productivity, and social mood.

The current kongrotiev wave is the Age of Information and Communication, which began in the 1980s and is characterized by the rapid development of digital technologies, such as the internet, mobile phones, social media, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology. Some experts predict that the "next kongrotiev wave will be the Age of Renewable Energy and Sustainability, which will focus on finding solutions to the environmental and social
challenges of the 21st century."

Waves are a common phenomenon in nature and society. They can be seen in the ocean, the sky, the sound, and the light. Waves can also be used to describe patterns of behavior, emotion, or opinion in human groups. For example, waves of migration, waves of protest, waves of fashion, or waves of innovation. To create an image that depicts this analogy, one could use different elements to represent the natural and social aspects of waves. For instance, one could draw a scene of a beach where the waves of the sea are contrasted with the waves of people moving on the sand. Or one could paint a picture of a city skyline where the waves of light from the buildings are compared with the waves of traffic on the streets. Or one could sketch a diagram of a sound wave and a graph of a public opinion poll to show how they both fluctuate over time. The image should capture the similarities and differences between natural and social phenomena, and convey a message about how waves influence our lives.
