Potty training isn’t hard. People just aren’t realistic.

Let’s simplify this.

Your puppy:
• Has a small bladder
• Doesn’t know where to go yet
• Needs repetition and timing

That’s it.

Accidents don’t mean your dog is stubborn.
They mean:
• You waited too long
• You missed the pattern
• You gave too much freedom

Most people expect a puppy to “get it” in a few days.

Then they get frustrated.

Potty training works when you:
• Take your puppy out often (more than you think)
• Watch for patterns
• Stay consistent

It’s not complicated.
It just requires patience and a plan.

If you’re frustrated, check your expectations before you blame your dog.

Stop Guessing—Create a Schedule

If your puppy feels chaotic, it’s because their day is.

Puppies don’t thrive on freedom.
They thrive on predictability.

A simple schedule solves most early problems:
• Potty accidents
• Biting
• Overstimulation
• Poor sleep

Your schedule doesn’t need to be perfect.

It just needs to exist.

Think in patterns:
• Wake → potty → eat → potty → activity → rest
• Repeat throughout the day

And here’s the key:
That schedule should grow with your puppy, not stay rigid forever.

As they mature:
• Time between potty breaks increases
• Rest becomes more natural
• Freedom expands

Without a schedule, you’re reacting all day.

With a schedule, you’re leading.

Structure creates calm. For you and your dog.
