It's not a new contract, but it's a formal agreement to preserve the language from our last contract until we can win a new one.
We Have a Contract Extension This is not a new contract, only an agreement to continue working under most provisions of our last contract.
Critical Care Recruitment and Retention Stipend has been extended until June 11th, 2026. More info to come. Very proud of our members.

Well said, Ed! β Ed Hawthorne Connecticut AFL-CIO
Gov. Lamont has vetoed and once again sided with corporate CEOs over the hardworking people of Connecticut.

Standing in solidarity with the larger labor movement to call on Governor Lamont to level the playing field for working people and sign SB 8 β

Members, see home email for why UI for striking workers is only part of it. π
Join the picket at Gov. Lamont's mansion to demand that he side with working people, not corporate CEOs!
We are so close to ensuring protections for striking workers.
A bill is heading to Gov. Lamont's desk that would allow striking workers to access unemployment insurance after striking for two weeks β a vital protection in the face of the assault on workers' right coming out of Washington.
But instead, Gov. Lamont has threatened to veto this pro-worker legislation!
We're calling on all union members and allies to join us for a picket outside the Governor's Mansion to urge him to sign this bill into law!
