See you tomorrow in Hartford at 11:00. We will have a booth, so come say “Hello” 🇺🇸👋💪💙

A Tale of Two Resolutions: 75 Dems Join GOP in Resolution Praising Trump’s Mass Deportation Regime 06/11/2025

Contact Jahana Hayes: On Monday, June 9th Jahana Hayes voted YES on a Republican resolution that “expresses gratitude to law enforcement officers, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel, for protecting the homeland.” The resolution, H. Res. 488, also weaponizes antisemitism and the tragic attack in Boulder to justify horrific ICE actions around the country. This is not the first time Jahana Hayes has voted YES on Republican gotcha votes. Laken Riley, for example.

Please contact Jahana Hayes immediately to express your disagreement with her anti-democratic vote. Ask her to publicly condemn ICE actions in Connecticut and nationally and to stop voting with Republicans to weaponize antisemitism and advance the dangerous agenda of the administration in Washington. Also, Meriden is in Jahana’s district.

Ask her what she is doing to help Kevin, the high school honor student taken by ICE in Meriden, and any other people in CD 5 who fear ICE. She has made no public statement about Kevin’s situation. Jahana Hayes needs to hear from ALL of us so our message is strong.

A Tale of Two Resolutions: 75 Dems Join GOP in Resolution Praising Trump’s Mass Deportation Regime Yesterday, the US House voted on two resolutions that both claimed to be about condemning antisemitism, but only one truly was.
