Congratulations to Debbie Crosset, the 2025 Hartford County 4-H Fair Association Premium Book Dedication Recipient. Fair Association President Tahlia, presented Debbie with the first copy of this year's book.

Debbie Crosset

Debbie is a 50 year volunteer, who has mentored generations of 4-Hers. Her connection with 4-H began as a 10-year-old member in Granby. Debbie has willingly given her time for decades as a fair judge and steward at the Hartford County 4-H Fair. On the county and state levels she has served as a clothing evaluation coordinator and member of the Hartford County 4-H Advisory and Expressive Arts Day Committees. She also served as a camp counselor at Hartford County 4-H Camp.

On a club level, Debbie has led project groups in sewing, quilting, cooking, arts and crafts, woodworking, electricity, and music, always promoting creativity, resilience, and fun. Debbie’s always adapting to challenges, including successfully transitioning her programs to virtual cooking during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has mentored numerous club officers and supported 4-H members in community service with projects, such as organizing Memorial Day floats and creating quilts for charity.

Debbie has continuously guided youth with patience, and creativity, empowering them to take on ambitious projects, learn complex skills, and encourage future growth.

Thank you, Debbie, for all that you do for Hartford County 4-H!
