You may have heard the news already, but we were awarded "Program of the Year" in the 2018 Greater Washington Government Contractor of the Year awards!

We are so excited and honored about the recognition for our collaborative efforts with Loudoun County Sheriff's Office's "Project Lifesaver" program. This program uses drones to locate missing persons with medical conditions such as Alzheimer's or Autism who have wandered away from home.

92-Year-Old Man Saved by Drone

We are always thrilled to see our impact on the safe and correct way to navigate airspace using unmanned aircraft systems. In the video below, you can see the direct impact our training and guidance had on Loudoun County Sheriff's Office during their search and rescue operation of a lost and missing 92-year-old man. Congratulations to the Sheriff's Department for a successful operation and to our team at PropelUAS for their part in saving this man's life!

Being part of saving a life is rewarding enough, but our part in setting up this program led us to winning the "Small Business Program of the Year" at the 2018 GovCon Awards!
