With the support of Chris Mulholland (Post 2894) and many others, I completed a book entitled *The Long Journey home: The Untold Story of Forgotten Soldiers. *The* *book, which took me 6.5 years to write, was based on a 2014 AP class project that changed the lives of my students. It is the story of how a diverse group of post-millenials rediscovered their local history and had a better understanding of the cost of war.
