🥑 Seasonal Farm Stand - Plant Starts Available in April.
📍Fallbrook, CA - Zone 10a
The early blooms are so short and cute this early in the season. To get more of these, you have to trim off early flowers but I can't just throw them away ESPECIALLY if one of my boys picked them.
That's why I'm so happy I found the cutest little bud vases at dailybloomslavenderfarm to make these mini bouquets I can keep and cherish.

Hey friends! It is time for me to put my phone down for a while so I can focus on having a fun summer with my family and to see how much I can improve my garden when I put my full time effort into it.
As much as I love creating new content, growing for the community, and helping everyone on here, it can feel overwhelming keeping up with messages, comments, texts, emails and so many more ways to be reached. It takes away from the quality time I can put into my own passion projects and into my family.
I'll be taking a little break but I'll still be sending twice a month updates through email and will only be responding through email. Checking multiple apps all day is really wearing on me. Thank you all so much for understanding ❤️
I'll be back soon.
In the meantime, stop by the farm stand and grab some plants for your garden.
The last day is June 7th and then it's all done for the season.

The white sage bush in my garden broke this morning so it was time to give it a proper harvest and pruning.
I had the perfect blend of herbs to make some herb bundles to dry.
I tied these up and went to hang them on this cute drying rack the hubs hung up for me on mother's day.
It is right in the kitchen and these catch my eye every time I'm in there 🥰😍
Aren't they so beautiful?! I can't wait to see how they dry.

It is June! The special month where the garden really starts to take off but we still have plenty of time to start new things.
Here is a little list of a few I'm starting this month.
Happy Planting! l
Don't forget to remove your rings after canning.
Once your jars have sealed and cooled, those rings have done their job. Leaving them on can actually hide a failed seal and can cause the rings to rust onto the jar.
It'll also help to see the top of the jar where the obvious signs of a failed seal will be. Keep an eye out for funky mold or discoloration at the top. I've only had 2 lids not seal correctly and was able to tell by how different the contents looked compared to the rest of the batch.
I always remove the rings, wipe down the jars, label them, and store them without the rings in my pantry.
It's one of those little canning habits that can save you a lot of headaches later.
A lot of people get this part wrong and ruin their traps or they try to put the trap in the mouth of the tunnel instead of making it part of the gophers path.
Here is a tutorial on how to choose where to place your trap.

Packing this month’s farm boxes today for the monthly email raffle winners.
I always think it’s so cool how every box ends up becoming a snapshot of whatever season we’re in around here.
Some months lean more garden. Some more kitchen. Some are full of preserved things I’ve been slowly putting away over time. But every single one tells a little story about what’s growing around the property right now.
This month’s box has some of my favorite things we’ve made, dried, grown, and canned lately.
I can't wait to get these to their new homes and to bless someone's family with our homemade things.
Thank you to everyone who follows along with all my favorite things we do here at home.

My future garden centerpiece has arrived! This rose has been hyped up so much and I'm so happy I was able to get my hands on one!
I installed this arch trellis and knew I wanted a statement flower to grow at the entrance of the garden.
I'm hoping that if she survived Hurricane Katrina, she'll survive my garden but I guess we will see!
It is if you want it to be!
