Kylie Leake is a PC Fall ‘18 senior who is majoring in Theater with a Concentration in Performance for Stage and Screen and minoring in Tourism and Event Management. She loves to travel, do boxing, and to spend time with her friends. A fun fact about Kylie is that she has 3 power equipment certifications. After graduation, she plans to move to Los Angeles to work on her career in film and TV. She said, “a dream of mine would be to win an Oscar, but I like to think of it as a goal rather than a dream. I want to inspire people through film and TV the Rene way movies influenced me. I want to connect with people across the globe through film. I want to be someone that people can look up to and help them realize that nothing is impossible if you try hard enough.”

Bryanne Baldassarre is a PC Fall ‘21 Freshman who is majoring in Cybersecurity Engineering. Since she is from Long Island, NY, she loves to go the beach in her free time and spending time with those she loves: family, friends, and her dog 🐶. Bryanne hopes to work for a government agency one day and use her major to help others.

Within our sorority, there are endless circles of friendship. #SimplySisterhood highlights them. This post features our sisters Maria Huayta and Maritza Martinez for #AOTuesday.

Maritza reminisces when she first met Maria, “I remember meeting Maria on Bid Day Fall 2019 and her smile lit up the entire room! We clicked so quickly and bonded over Bad Bunny and our Latin culture. My favorite thing about Maria is that she encourages me to be a better version of myself. I love going to the gym together because she is always pushing me to put more weight on the bar and she believes that I can lift the weight even though sometimes I don’t think I can. She is one of the kindest people I know and incredibly hardworking! I am so grateful that she’s my bestie for life and I know she’s is going to be saving so many lives in her future 💗”

Maria’s memory to the start of their friendship is similar: “The first time I met Ritz was at Bid Day back in fall 2019! I had just ran home to KD and i remember my bid day buddy introducing me to Ritz. We started talking and she seemed like the sweetest person ever, so welcoming and friendly 🤍 we got closer after going to the Bad Bunny concert with other sisters (a memory i will never forget- seeing my fav artist with my fav girls). Our friendship means the world to me, she has always been there for me through thick and thin, always listening to my dumb stories and dilemmas, always giving me advice, and always supporting and hyping me up. I love doing life with my girl, and cant wait for the many more memories to come 🤩”
