Thank you to everyone who came out to our 3rd Annual Philanthropy Banquet: Break the Silence, Speak Out! We were able to raise a total of $835 which was all donated to the Mason Victims of Violence Fund. We could not have made the night any more successful and greatly appreciate the performers, speaker, guests, and alum.

The ray that will conclude our 10 Rays - 10 Days event leading up to Founder's Day is Legacy!

This ray is to participate in ensuring that the Sigma spirit is passed down through our active SYZters, new SYZters, and alumni.
We do this by providing opportunities for everyone to be involved and stay involved! We also ensure that we provide spaces for everyone to engage in.

Thank you for joining us for our celebration as we draw closer to Sigma Psi Zeta's Founder's Day which is tomorrow, March 23rd!

We are almost done with our 10 Rays - 10 Days event! The 9th ray for today is Integrity!

Integrity is to uphold SYZ's history, values, and purposes. SYZters do this through holding traditions and providing space for each other to be true to ourselves. We allow each other to grow and to become better individuals!

The ray for our 10 Rays - 10 Days event is Citizenship!

Citizenship is to serve as a role model by showing appropriate behavior in university life, to other Greeks, and to the community. SYZters do that by collaborating with other Greeks and to ensure that we represent ourselves as best as we can.

We're past the halfway mark for our 10 Rays - 10 Days event! Today's ray is Philanthropy!

Sigmas embody this ray through their efforts to combat the Violence Against Women. We do so through our education, activism, financial support, and community awareness.

The next ray for our 10 Rays - 10 Days event is Community!

Community allows SYZters to support SYZters in their efforts within their community as well as leadership opportunities that may arise. At GMU, SYZters take on many other leadership roles to support the George Mason University community as a whole!

The 4th ray for our 10 Rays - 10 Days event is SYZterhood!

SYZterhood is defined by giving support to each and every SYZter. No matter where our SYZters are in life, they will always have our back. We have syzters from all over the country. The closest syzters to us is Lambda Chapter at UVA, Pi Chapter in GW, and Tau Chapter from UMD!

Day 3 of our 10 Rays - 10 Days is Culture!

Culture is extremely important to all of our SYZters. We have SYZters from around the globe who partake in different, unique cultural aspects. Thus, SYZ strives to respect each and every culture. We are able to do so through our Culture co-Chairs who work endlessly to promote the cultures from around the world.

Today's ray for our 10 - Rays 10 Dats is Professionalism!

Our SYZters envoy Professionalism through their behavior and actions in our organization. Sigma Psi Zeta promotes Professionalism through various workshops and events that are open to all SYZters and anyone else who is interested.

The SYZters of Sigma Psi Zeta Alpha Nu Charter are gearing up for Founder's Day with our "10 Rays 10 Days" event!

The first ray to start it all off is Scholarship. This ray embodies the importance of academics for all SYZters. We always encourage our SYZters to strive to do their best in any school setting. Our eboard even has an Academic Chair who is dedicated to improving and helping the SYZters with any academic related activities.

On November 30, GMU Sigma Psi Zeta hosted Cultural Stereotypes, where everyone learned the concepts and dangers of cultural stereotypes.

On November 12, GMU Sigma Psi Zeta hosted "Spill the Love" and held a discussion on healthy vs toxic relationships over some tea.

On November 9th, GMU Sigma Psi Zeta hosted "Food for Others" and raised awareness about food banks and ways to help the community during these tough times.
