We need help in Virginia Beach accessing assistance when the school refuses to give reading services and access to AIM (but then gives them read aloud just in time for their SOL's?!). Help!

AIM-VA provides accessible instructional materials to eligible Virginia K-12 students who have an In AIM-VA provides accessible instructional materials to eligible Virginia K-12 students with Individualized Education Plans (IEP) who have a print disability.

Accessible instructional materials are alternative print materials, (e.g., Braille, electronic files, etc.) that can be delivered to and used by students who are not able to use traditional print. AIM-VA staff provide teachers with training and technical assistance on how to select and use accessible instructional materials with students. AIM-VA is a program sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education and provided by The Helen A. Kellar Institute at George Mason University (GMU).
