Congratulations to our own Andrew Bruza for being selected as one of this year’s AFCEA International 40 Under 40 Award Winners! This award is given to individuals with a focus in STEM for their passion, innovation, and leadership. We’re proud to have you on our team, Andrew!
#NAML was a blast! More than 1,000 attendees gathered for the Naval Applications for #MachineLearning workshop hosted by #NIWCPacific and the San Diego chapter of AFCEA International.

Thanks to all our partners for making it such a success. According to Katie Rainey, NIWC Pacific scientist and NAML general chair, the workshop couldn’t succeed without strong ties among various government entities and industry.

“My favorite thing is when someone brings us a suggestion for content — a session, or a panel discussion, or a keynote speaker — and helps with the legwork to make that happen. The more people are contributing to the content, the more I am confident this is a valuable event for the community.”

We think so too, if we do say so ourselves.

Sometimes "happy Monday" rings hollow. But not today. Not when there's a shiny new #NAML logo hot off the press.

#NIWCPacific and AFCEA San Diego will host the 6th annual Naval Applications of Machine Learning (NAML) workshop March 22–24 and it’s not too late to sign up. It’s all about showcasing current #machinelearning research relevant to naval applications.

It'll be virtual with a mix of live and pre-recorded content, just like last year. Free for government, $199 for industry, $89 for academia, and worth every penny, in our humble opinion.

For more info or to register for #NAML2022 visit https://sites.google.com/go.spawar.navy.mil/naml.

A little bonus: throwback to vintage NAML logos. See you there next week!
