With Mason closed today, there will be no shuttle service. Resident students should move vehicles from surface lots into Rappahannock and Shenandoah Deck. Roofs of decks will be closed.
Resident students STARTING at 8pm tonight need to move their vehicles inside Rappahannock Deck Permit Levels 1-2 or Shenandoah Deck Level 4 in advance of expected inclement weather. See email for info.
Valued Resident Parking Permit Owner,
Due to the inclement weather forecast you are required to relocate your vehicle to either the Rappahannock Parking Deck's General permit area or Level 4 of the Shenandoah Parking Deck starting at 8P Thursday, 1/18 so the University's Facilities department can plow/treat our surface parking areas as required.
The General permit area of the Rappahannock Parking Deck consists of levels 1 & 2, with the exception of the visitor area (payment required) on Level 1.
Ticketing & towing may be required for vehicles left in surface parking areas.
You will be required to move your vehicle back to your authorized parking area when Facilities is done but no later than 11P Sunday, 1/21.
We understand this is an inconvenience but safety is the priority.
Parking and Transportation, in partnership with the Shuttle Advisory Committee, invites faculty, staff, and students to complete a short survey on the Fairfax/SciTech Shuttle. We are interested in hearing from both those who currently use the shuttle as well as those who live in Prince William County or points further west and do not currently use the shuttle. It should take less than 5 minutes to complete. This is purely informational, no changes to the route are currently in development. We will keep the survey open through January 2024. To complete the survey, visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FFX-SciTech.
