DSS provides professional education in U.S. national security policy; especially on issues regarding Missouri State University’s Graduate Department of Defense & Strategic Studies (DSS), located in Fairfax, VA, hosts U.S.-policy-oriented courses on: national security leadership, cyber warfare, counter-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, combating international terrorism, military operations, nuclear strategy and deterrence, the dynamics of arms control, missile defense issues, law and international security, the defense policy cycle, the work of the intelligence community, security-focused area studies, and many more.

Did you catch DSS doctorate student and Professor Rebeccah Heinrichs on Fox News or Fox Business last week? Rebeccah addressed issues related to the Russia - Ukraine conflict.
Rebeccah teaches portions of DSS 601 Nuclear Strategy and Deterrence and is currently enrolled in the DSS Professional Doctorate program.
