My name is Logan Kelley A good friend/client of mine encouraged me to post on here to let you all know of a resource that you/your family member could benefit from.
You may or may not have heard of the PEERS program before. PEERS is an evidence-based social skills program that is proven effective in teaching kids, adolescents and young adults how to make and keep friends. The research-based program was developed in the Seminal Institute of Neuroscience and Human Development at UCLA and continues to be a largely growing clinical practice.
I received my PEERS certification in 2015 and have been implementing this program in a 1:1, small group, and virtual setting with people from varying backgrounds. Since I started implementing this program with individuals on the autism spectrum, it has been a game changer. I have seen people making incredible leaps socially and I wanted to share the information as a resource!
