💛ACHIEVEMENTS SPOTLIGHTS❤️
For today’s achievement spotlight we are celebrating our sisters @cordeliatran and @emilly.williams
Cordelia and Emily were named the duo champions for the National Speech Championship for GMU’s forensics team. In their speech, they advocated for increased understanding of all sexual assault survivors, recognizing that everyone won’t receive justice until we all address the unique barriers that Asian survivors face. This was their first of three national tournaments they are competing at, and we could not be more proud of them.

Dear PC ‘20,
With recruitment starting today, here’s a letter from our recruitment director ♡ ♡ ♡
My name is Tiffany LeBlanc, and I’m the recruitment director at Chi Omega here at Mason. I am beyond excited to introduce you all to Chi O over the next couple of weeks, and our members are even more excited to get to know every one of you!
Recruitment can be a little daunting, but this experience will bring you so many great memories and bonds with the amazing women in the Panhellenic community. With these girls in my corner, I have become a better student, leader, friend, helper and so much more— I know that I will forever be grateful for everything greek life and Chi Omega has given me.
I hope you’re ready, because there are so many exciting new experiences coming your way. Remember that you are strong, beautiful, and capable! Can’t wait to meet you all :)
Sending so much love,
Tiffany
Why Chi O Wednesday ❤️💛
Zara Dilic “I went into recruitment freshman year extremely anxious, right until I walked into Chi Omega’s room and started talking to Claudia Conrad (I’ll never forget our first convo) where I felt completely comfortable. All of the values I had for myself lined up with Chi Omega’s- and as a person who loves working with kids- I was extremely excited to join an organization that raised money for Make A Wish! I have made the best friends of my life because of Chi Omega, ones that I can have fun with, I can rely on constantly, and they have given me so much more confidence. I was also excited about leadership opportunities I could have, and after becoming Social Chair I learned a lot more about myself and have better communication and organizational skills. I’m forever thankful for the growth I have experienced, and I wouldn’t be who I am now without Chi Omega!”
Without Lena, Chi Kappa wouldn’t have...

We hope everyone had a great & safe first week of school 📚✏️ up next: RECRUITMENT ❤️💛
Wondering what to look for in recruitment?
See what made Chi Omega stand out for @saramodeh ⭐️ “I chose Chi Omega because it truly felt like I was meeting my people. I’ve never experienced an instance when I had so many instant connections with so many extraordinary women who truly accepted and understood me and I’m so I happy I get to call them my sisters now. It was also truly uncanny how Chi O’s values matched up so perfectly with my personal ones. Because of that it never feels like I have to put my life or the person I was before joining Chi O on pause, because Chi O is with me every step of the way, supporting me and encouraging me to be the best version of myself I could possibly become. I adore Chi Omega and I can’t imagine my life without my sisters. “

“To choose thoughtfully”
Recruitment is an important process where you find your forever home and friends for a lifetime. What made 𝒚𝒐𝒖 choose Chi Omega?
As Mental Health Awareness month continues Chi Kappa wants to share as many stories as we can!
☼ Marguerite St Clair ☼
“I will admit that since I was little, I’ve always had my “script” of how life would go, while being very quick to have a back-up plan just in case something went wrong. Never did I ever think I’d need surgery at 21 years old, let alone a heart surgery, nor did I think I would be fighting to learn to walk and write again after a car accident just a short time after. Yet in this trying time, I found the most beautiful part of me with the help of my people around me, something I never knew I had; resilience.
I’ve slowly had to learn that MY script is not THE script and that has been a very hard concept to grasp for me. I’ve had to learn to slow down and take things one step at a time as they come, learning that the cliché saying of “life is a marathon, not a sprint” is the most accurate thing I’ve ever heard. Along with this I’ve also had the realization that sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been, to stand up taller than you ever were. If there’s anything I can promise, I can assure you that you are not alone in your struggles mentally and physically, especially when you have an amazing group of sisters around you reminding you how strong you really are. Look forward to what is to come after hardships, find inner peace in struggles, search for small happinesses, embrace the mini accomplishments, and oh boy just keep on smiling!”
