Opened by the duo that brought Georgetown Chez Billy Sud · Le Bar à Vin, the new Mosaic District spot Parc de Ville VA is where to find French classics and new takes on everything from croque-madame to a double cheeseburger.
I need everyone to know how amazing this place is. I am so beyond impressed. My husband and I are currently seated for dinner and I can't wait until I get home to say how amazing it is. I will update later on the food but the service so far is beyond anything I have had. So impressed!

Okay! So I am able to finish my review now. Both service and food are, in my opinion, beyond compare.

I had the Escargot, Moules Frites, and Chocolate Mousse for dessert. My husband had Duck egg with pork belly, duck confit, espresso dessert (I apologize I can't remember all the names!)

All the food came out relatively quickly but it absolutely wasnt rushed at all. The duck and the pork belly are absolutely to die for. We were so impressed.

The biggest thing for me though was the service. From start to finish the staff made us feel we were the most important people there even though the restuarant was full. When I asked where the lavatory was, instead of pointing, the waiter actually escorted me there to show me. It was service I haven't had before and I have been to many fine dinning places.

My waiter would help me pronounce the names of the cocktails and the food and he took such joy in doing it. When I pointed to what I wanted he wanted to show me how it was said and give me a bit of background on the food.

Hilton Brothers - you have really hit the mark here. My husband and I are so impressed. For a three course meal two cocktails and a beer EACH it came to around $150. It is the perfect date night and I just can't wait to be back!

A Family Affair

A century of combined culinary experience unites the family of chefs behind Mosaic District's brightest new restaurant. Chef/Owner Brendan L'Etoile works alongside his uncle and mother in the vibrant open kitchen at the heart of the two-tiered dining room and bar.

Chef L’Etoile and team puts a family twist on classic bistro fare and brings a taste of metropolitan France to Northern Virginia. Traditional onion soup and pillowy boudin blanc sausage are showcased alongside pinot noir-poached duck egg and Parisian gnocchi.
