The Fairview Haven Loom Room is a wonderful place where volunteers come together to make rugs to sell by donation only. The money donated for these rugs benefits the Good Samaritan Fund of Fairview Haven Retirement Community to help fund its non-profit mission of caring for seniors in need. Table runners, scarves and trivets are other items that are sold to help defray costs of producing the prod

We are back at it working at the Loom Room after
a month off. Got the beautiful table runners finished.

There will be days like this. Can you relate?

We recently finished a few Table Runners. Each one we make is so unique. Come check them out.
We are going to take a little break from the Loom Room during the month of March. We will be back in full force in April. Thanks so much for your loyalty to the Fairveiw Haven Loom Room.

We took a few more rugs off the Loom and finished them up. They turned out great.

This rug turned out so nice. It is a special order for a customer. It is Red, Black and White. It is 79 inches long. Be sure to come by or give us a call if you would like a certain length or color of rug. We will do our best to accommodate you.

So we had a special order for some multi colored placemats. They turned out great.

If you have been cleaning out closets and storage areas and run across material from old sheets or curtains, anything that you just don't have the heart to throw out, but you don't want anymore, donate it to the Loom Room. We take all kinds of fabric and make rugs and table runners out of it. Just drop off any day at 900 N. 9th inside the garage. Thanks in advance.

Tis the Season to celebrate together. Our Christmas party at the Loom Room to celebrate Jesus birth was today.

We have been kept busy lately with special orders. Get your orders in soon if you need a rug or table runner for that special person on your Christmas list. Here is a 38 inch denim rug. It is just one of a few we still have left. The holidays are right around the corner. Place your orders or come by and see what we have.

A beautiful bright colored rug on the loom. It is a special order for someone. We took it off and still need to hem the ends. It is just so pretty.

Another pretty table runner. It measures 59 inches with the fringe. This will be available not only at the Loom Room, but also at our garage sale this weekend. Come check out all our items.

A few more beautiful rugs.

We have a few more pretty homemade potholders. Stop by during the Fairbury All Town Garage Sales. We will also have our rugs and table runners for sale by donation only along with other garage sale items.

These rugs are beautiful.

We have someone who is making potholders. Here are a few we have.

We are branching out a little bit more lately. Tom has made some dish rags and we have a few more table runners.

Happy 95th Birthday to one of our volunteers, Evelyn Yoder. We went to the Chenoa Family Resturant to celebrate after working today. Celebrating with us are Helen Voeste, Jean Doran, Calvin Schick, Diane Steidinger and Tom Steidinger.

The 3 volunteers from the Loom Room, that put entries in the 2021 Fairbury Fair all placed and took ribbons. Helen Voeste, Calvin Schick, and Tom Steidinger, well done.

It has been so hot out lately for all of us. Frosty catches a few ZZZZZZZZ's on the cool concrete floor. Stay cool my friends.

A really nice, durable, denim rug ready to go as a special order. Come see us if you need to place a special order.

So we have a new little artist painting and selling her paintings at the Loom Room. Rylie Stadler, 11years old, granddaughter of Randy and Jean Doran, has painted these pictures and Marcia Steidinger did the writing on the picture for her. These paintings will be available at the Loom Room for sale. Come by and take a closer look.

We have some real beauties here. Donna Kaisner is working with us on adding gorgeous special touches to the table runners and trivets. These will be at the Farmers Markets at Fairveiw Haven. Come take a look.

This beautiful Denim rug has Frosty's seal of approval. It is a special order for a customer. If you would like a rug made to order, give us a call or stop by anytime.

We have gotten a few more rugs off the Loom, hemmed and ready to go.

This is the 3rd painting that is for sale at the Loom Room. We have another young lady writing Tom's poems on the paintings. She would rather not be mentioned. We thank her just the same for her help and her talent.

We have a few more items from today.

New at the Loom Room! Donna Kaisner has added her inspirational flare to our table runners. They are so beautiful. These will be at the Farmers Market at Fairveiw Haven tomorrow, Wednesday, from 8 - noon. Come take a closer look.

We have a few more rugs and smaller table runners or trivets ready to go.

Our 2nd painting is from Tom's book of poems called Inspirational Expressions. The poem used is called Smiles. Picture was painted by Jean Doran and Keirra Stoller did the beautiful writing style. This painting is also for sale at the Loom Room. Come take a closer look.

This rug is so beautiful with all it's bright colors. It is 74 inches long. This rug has now been sold, but we might have enough fabric to make another one similar to it.
