Finding Northern Lights requires a little bit of luck, but is mostly about planning. Here are the most important RULES:
1. Eliminate Light Pollution (Cities, Moon, Artificial Light)
2. Know the areas weather pattern features
3. Follow Solar Storm Activity / forecasts
4. Understand cloud forecasts and real time data
5. Go with someone that know how to play by the first 4 RULES
Here is a hint: Big bus tours look for suitable parking where you might see some "Green-on-your-Screen" - We simply focus on finding the most amazing Northern Lights
We have had an unreal Arctic North and Wild South: Aurora tour so far. Fantastic Northern Lights both in the North and in the South. Ice caves were fantastic on a private tour, waterfalls, beaches and food to die for!
