Hi! My husband and I are currently in the process of opening a coffee shop in an old garage/gas station in our hometown in illinois. I was just told there was a coffee shop in Wisconsin that also has a coffee shop in an old gas station. WILLOW BAY COFFEE SHOP is coming along! We have expanded the counter area and the electrical, insulation and metal ceiling is going up. This is so exciting and a dream come true. I have such a wonderful husband and kids.

Today we started on our huge 12’ x 40’ deck that will be a lovely seating area for our future coffee shop at Just Beyond the Willow. Keith and Josh dug 17 post holes and all 3 of us mixed up 36 bags of concrete to fill only 12 of the holes. 5 more to go and then the fun part begins! Stay tuned for updates

Good for the Soul
Built in 1931, this building has gone through quite a few changes. It started out as a gas station and 88 years later is a fantastic new shop that features one of a kind items. For a very long time I have loved taking something that wasn’t wanted or needed or desired anymore and making it beautiful again. I love to be creative and seeing what I can achieve with a little imagination and ingenuity. Gardening is another one of my passions. So you can expect to see florals and live plants during the warmer days. This shop is so good for my soul and I love every minute that I can spend there. My husband and I have spent countless hours scrubbing, cleaning, tearing down, rebuilding, painting and beautifying this old building with so many fabulous details. We hope to be adding a coffee shop at the start of 2020. Please make sure to stop in and check out Just Beyond the Willow.
