I love being allowed to document a persons' life in pictures. With so many things going digital, I love capturing a moment in time for my clients.
I am temporarily closed due to a serious illness. I will re-open in the Fall 2021. I stay busy and love it! I started out as a 2nd shooter at weddings for a well-established photographer. After 6 years, I realized I wanted some of my weekends back to spend with family. So I began spreading my wings and venturing into photographing babies, kids & families, couples, and births. Kids and babies have

I have a few maternity photo shoots coming up this week & weekend. I hope we can steer clear of Harvey rains. One sweet mom is pregnant with twin girls! Such fun!
Julianna & Tym are getting married later this year! They make such a cute couple too.
The love and overwhelming happiness of the wedding day followed everyone from Farmers Branch to the La Cima Club in Las Colinas. It is a beautiful venue with gorgeous views, and their catering is over the top! The great vendors were wonderful to work with. The flowers were lovely and smelled so good. Haute Floral did a wonderful job. The DJ, DFWParties World HQ - the Not So Secret Lair of DJ Rod Baker kept the dance floor full all night. I want to add that the little lady dancing with Brad is his 90 yr. old mother. Once she hit the dance floor, she stayed for several songs. She didn’t want anyone telling her when to sit down. 😊 Karin’s family is so special to my husband and me. Her dad enjoyed the father-daughter dance so much. He is so proud of her. The cake was to.die.for. I am a cake person! Panini Bakery & Cakes makes awesome cakes, and it was surrounded by flowers also. The entire event was expertly coordinated by Sue Kelson (Sue Kelson Events. Every little detail was perfect! The reception ended around midnight with everyone wishing Karin & Brad all the love and happiness every couple deserves. And, thank you so much for putting your faith in me to document the day in pictures. It was an honor! Love you both.
This wedding might go down as my favorite. Karin & Brad met 5 yrs. ago on Match.com and they’ve been together ever since. In Aug. 2015, they received news that Brad needed a new heart. By Aug. 2016, he had moved to the top of the donor list. He got a new heart on 10/30/16 & the wedding planning shifted into high gear. Their wedding was July 10th, exactly five years from the day they first met. I’m telling you their love story because, when you look through the pictures, you will see so much love & they both had the biggest smiles all night. It was a great day! The awesome vendors include:

Derek & Shannon have the cutest little girls! The baby was about 8 days old when I took her pictures. We all had a great time! :) Karin Soulen Ellis Toi Bragg Forswall
I love Miss Madi so much. Audrey & Shaun are the lucky parents and we have become good friends. It's always fun to spend time with them. Here are a few pictures from our afternoon of eating ice cream, playing in fountains, and smelling the flowers. Toi Bragg Forswall
Gosh, it feels like forever since I've posted photo shoots. Since Christmas, I've taken some time off to go to several photography schools/seminars, take some sick leave (everything is good now), and chased tornadoes. It's been a busy five months. But, I've got a few things to post and I will be caught up. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again. For all of my clients, this explains why you should order your prints through me. I use a professional lab, whose computers are correctly calibrated and they guarantee the prints won't fade for 50+ years. My wedding clients and newborn clients should pay attention. :)
Clients – Printing Experiment In this day and age, we all seem to live with computer screens, phones and tablet devices that display our images. This is one of the reasons why we all love a good digital file. Another reason is so that as a client, you have your file to print over and over again. However, its…
I am so late in getting these pictures posted, which I've had to apologize for. This was the craziest holiday season to date. But, better late than never, right? Kayla is the daughter-in-law of a dear friend and we both wanted to do maternity pictures. She had a beautiful blue dress that was so pretty against the greenery. To include their daughter, we let her do some painting on Kayla's tummy. She could put whatever she wanted on it, and I think it turned out perfect. And Payton was so proud of it. :)
I have wanted to get a call from Lacy for a long time to do their pictures. Ffinally, I got the call the first of December and was so thrilled. Mr. Eli is so much fuun, photogentic, and a little boy who loves to fish. So we hatched a plan & met last weekend. The Fall colors in the trees was so beautiful all along the trail we walked. Of course, Eli had to fish first. I love that boy! :)
A little 'behind the scenes' fun with Madi this morning. We have so much fun together and I truly love her family.
Everley is a long awaited answer to a prayer for Robyn & Brian. If you'll remember, Everley was their fourth attempt at having a child. Needless to say, I think Everley will find so much love and spoiling from her parents & her big extended family. Thank you so much for opening your home to me & all that follows along when I do a newborn shoot. I love your little family so much!

Brenna is just about the sweetest Senior I've ever met. I loved the road trip to Houston to shoot her pictures. We had a so much fun. We started with Brenna getting her hair and makeup professionally done for the first time! She is now a huge fan of airbrush makeup. :) In Houston's high humidity, it held up perfectly. Here are just a few of the pictures taken. Isn't she beautiful? Brenna & her mom, Jen, are special people to me. Love you both!
