Hi, everyone! My favorite place in Bangor, Maine is closing due to the pandemic situation. Tea and Tarts has always held out welcoming arms to everyone, and as a tribute, 100% of the proceeds from this shop from now until the end of 2020 will be going to them to help in their transition. All books are also available at the shop itself, 20 State St., through their last day of business on October 31. Pick one up in person and enjoy a cup of tea while saving postage

The "punkies" are here! Or, at least, a couple of them are here. (There are several more anxiously awaiting their turn in the photo booth, primping and carrying on.) These are pieces from a line of jewelry I created quite a while ago. I christened them the "punkies" in honor of my daughter, Caity, and her band of Chi-town friends who opened my eyes early on to how amazing people can be, even if they are a little scary and out of your comfort zone, if you just listen and learn! So, in a triumphant return, I salute you all again- strange, p***y and peculiar people of the world - enjoy!

Just got back from a marvelous and inspiring visit to Portland, Oregon! Hope to have some books there some day! In the meantime, now that we are back, I will soon be debuting my "new" line of kid friendly books - The Activity Book, The Young Artist, and The Young Chef!
