What an incredible reminder of God’s faithfulness.
This past Friday, our Play as One family came together for the 3rd Annual Chick Embrey Golf Classic. Sponsors, golfers, volunteers, coaches, parents, and supporters united around a shared belief: the next generation matters.
Because of your generosity, more kids and families will have opportunities to experience mentorship, community, discipleship, and the love of Jesus through Play as One Academy.
As we celebrate what God has done, we’re also looking ahead to an exciting summer. Our 2026 Summer Camps begin soon, and we can’t wait to help students grow in faith, friendships, confidence, and purpose.
This year’s theme is BELIEVE.

One thing we hear over and over from our coaches is this:
“I came to help the kids… but I ended up being changed too.”
There’s something powerful about showing up consistently for the next generation. Encouraging them. Believing in them. Walking alongside them.
And this summer, we’d love for more parents and volunteers to experience that too.
You do not have to be perfect. You just have to be willing to show up.
Our June Summer Camp cannot happen without amazing people stepping in to lead, encourage, and help create an unforgettable week for these kids.

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country. 🇺🇸
Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.
At Play as One, we are deeply grateful for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so families like ours can gather, worship, coach, mentor, play, and live freely.
This Memorial Day, we pray for the families carrying the weight of loss, for the men and women who have served our nation, and for hearts that never forget the cost of freedom.

We watched confidence build week after week as players learned new skills, encouraged each other, and competed with heart.

🏌️♀️Join us on May 29, 2026, for the 3rd Annual Play as One Chick Embrey Golf Classic at the stunning Lakehouse Resort in San Marcos, CA. With a shotgun start at 8:00 AM, golf enthusiasts and community supporters will come together for a day filled with friendly competition, all in support of our mission to empower youth through sports and education.
Participants will enjoy a challenging round of golf, followed by an exciting live auction, a thrilling silent auction, and a chance to win fabulous prizes in our raffle. Together, we will make a difference in the lives of children, fostering teamwork and leadership skills through play.
