Hello 2025!! I’m so happy you’re here. Let’s take an adventure or two, love on some people hard, let things that no longer serve us go, and make the most of the next 365 days (give or take a few). To my couples who are saying I do this year- you made it!! I cannot wait to celebrate with you and your loved ones. To those who just said yes - congratulations!! I’d love to hear your yes story below!

A reception table, the place where memories are shared, celebrations are held, and love is grown.
It’s also a holding place, for drinks and desserts, jackets and left behind shoes, a place of pause when the dancing gets too rowdy or the music gets too loud. A place of quiet conversation during the party. The place where a meal is shared across a room, where people cry during speeches or smile during dances. It’s one of my favorite places to watch.

When the moment happens right in front of you, and you happen to be waiting for it.

What a cool moment I was able to grab of Ethan. He looked cool to the nth degree at his Erie wedding celebration, and the cigar smoke billowed around him like it was a paid extra after a few clicks from my end.

Grooms are just as important as brides, I’ll always crest magic for them too.

I couldn’t help but share more from this engagement session. It’s everything I think of when I think of a downtown Erie autumn session. The sun was just right, the leaves put on a show, and Anna and Scott looked absolutely amazing.

I have my last scheduled engagement session of the year this weekend, and will have all galleries delivered by Thanksgiving. Time to start the wrap up of 2024, and start heavy planning on 2025!

So honored to have been a part of Alex & Rick’s wedding day. Alex was one of my seniors way back in the day when that was a thing I did. 🥹😵‍💫 To be asked to spend the most magical day with them was a gift to me, and I’m so grateful I get to relive it in their photos.

Sometimes the most obscure places make for the most beautiful imagery. 💜

I’ll forever be searching for inspiration and ways to make your wedding photos stand out. I love to watch people and learn them, seeing what they’re built from and how they use their emotions to guide them through the world. Your wedding photos aren’t any different to me. I watch you interact in the “not seen”moments, the way you joke together or the stories I listen to all morning in the getting ready room. I put all of this stole information together, piecing it in to get a full image of who each of you are apart, and who you are together. That’s what I use when taking those photos that take your breath away. I can copy a pose from the internet any day of the week, but instead I prefer to create images for you that make you feel. That being you right back into those moments, because in life’s darkest days sometimes those moments are what we cling to and beg to bring us back. How important that is isn’t lost on me, and I’ll forever strive to find that inspiration for each and every one of my couples.

I made a little trip to Cleveland last night to hang out with Kaitlyn and Kyle. We laughed a lot, played in the stunning sunset, and made a lot of magic. Kaitlyn told me she wanted to stay in downtown Cleveland because it’s their home for now, but not forever. She also wanted to do something a little different than what she saw when looking for inspiration. So we tried places from a different perspective, and the outcome was nothing short of perfection. I truly cannot wait for their wedding day next year. It’s going to be one for the books.

🍂 There’s something magical about the way autumn wraps us in warmth and whispers promises of forever, even when it’s still warm enough out for summer evening swims. Capturing these quiet, tender moments, where love feels as endless as the horizon though, is timeless and will forever be my favorite no matter the season. I loved spending time with Chrissy and Jarrett last weekend. Their wedding day next year is going to be nothing short of perfection.

Are we really saying goodbye to summer?? I feel like it just started yesterday 😳🤣

I have had the best summer season, so many fun engagement sessions, the best weddings, and time with my family. I’m so excited to see what fun the fall season brings me, after all it is my favorite!

Some downtown portraits for this lovely lawyered couple. See what I did there? Lauren & Brendan were such good sports on the hottest day of the summer, we stood out in the sweltering heat, with the sun beating down and minimal cover. We went quick, but man were we still able to get some amazing portraits that I know will don their walls for a lifetime.

I’m so lucky to live in a place where this is 20 minutes away. Last night, the sun came out and shone just bright enough to give me some beautiful light to play in. I encourage every couple who steps in front of my camera to play and have fun with each other. Lauren & Jamie are no strangers to fun, and wow did it make for the best photos. We laughed a lot, searched for sea glass (is it called lake glass here?) and made some memories. I could share every single photo on here for you, they’re that amazing! I’ll stick to a few of my favorites for now, you’ll just have to come experience it for yourselves if you want to see more!

That ~just married~ feeling is probably one of the best feelings on your wedding day. You’ve done it, you are now connected to this person for the rest of your days. How amazing is that right? It’s one of my favorite moments to capture because it is full of joy and happiness and just all the feels. What wouldn’t you love about that moment, paused for eternity?

Now listen, sometimes I will ask you and your lover to do something silly. I know the moment the question leaves my mouth you’re thinking “What is this woman thinking? Is she nuts?” I promise I’m not! I am always trying new things, and when things turn out like this, well just know I won’t be stopping the crazy idea train anytime soon.

Wildflower season is upon us, and twirling within the colorful rows sounds like an amazing plan for your engagement session. I’m so happy I got to hang out with Hannah & Matt last night, we shared some big laughs, and we might have watched the resident furry hunter a few more minutes than I care to admit! 🫣😂I cannot wait for their wedding next year-it’s going to be so much fun!
