Hagen History Center
Where History Inspires

We are open at the Battles White House tonight for the Spring Solstice festival! Come join us for a tour!

Our Director of Collections is also a plant lover, and she loves finding evidence of Mrs. Watson's green thumb!
Look closely at this image of the Watson-Curtze Mansion's solarium from our archives. What types of plants can you identify here?

Thanks to the 225+ incredible men who showed up, showed out, and helped us raise funds to restore the historic windows 🪟 of our beloved mansion! 💪🏽✨
Your support brings us one step closer to preserving this Erie gem. Cheers to history, community, and making a difference—together! 🥂🏛️

In observance of Juneteenth, we invite you to visit our popup exhibit in the Watson-Curtze dining room.
You’ll find some history and illustrations of churches on the Underground Railroad and of the Pope Hotel. You can make your own masterpiece and take it home.
