Starting a conversation with youth can be difficult. Try one of these questions to get the conversation going.

Parenting is hard work. Kids do not come with instruction manuals. But leaning on each other for ways to help our youth become successful adults is a great start. Search Institute shares with us some great ways to build Developmental Relationships with our youth.

Regular family dinners are difficult. We all run in a million different ways. But, regular dinners together (it doesn't matter what the food is) are important to youth success. Do you have meals together every night? If not make it a goal to do it at least one night per week (no electronics for anyone), then next month make it a point to do it at least two nights per week, and so on. We all need to eat, let's make eating together a priority!
