🌎 Earth Day 2025 🌸
I started this flower farm because I wanted to feel more connected—to the seasons, the soil, and the quiet wisdom of nature. This land is part of a 200-year-old farmstead, and every day it reminds me that caring for the Earth is both an old practice and a daily promise.
Here, we grow with intention. We plant what feeds the bees, compost what’s spent, and walk the fields with muddy boots and a full heart. It’s not always easy, but it feels right—like we’re part of something bigger and rooted.
On this Earth Day, I’m grateful for mornings filled with birdsong, the smell of rain on soil, and flowers that bloom because we chose to nurture, not take.
Let’s keep showing up for this planet, one bloom, one season, one small choice at a time.

We’re reminiscing about Kelsey and Bradley’s August 2024 wedding flowers on this Throwback Thursday! 🪻
Venue: The Schoolhouse

This week’s arrangement is a gentle celebration of spring’s first bloomers—subtle, striking, and full of promise. We’ve gathered:
❀ Elegant white daffodils – the official greeters of spring, bringing light and fragrance wherever they go.
❀ Our very first anemones – delicate, moody, and mesmerizing with their inky centers and soft petals.
❀ The very first tulip of the season – standing tall, bold, and full of anticipation.
❀ Sweet-scented hyacinth – rich in fragrance and color, adding depth and nostalgia to the mix.
❀ Sprigs of early greenery – foraged and farm-grown.
This mix feels like that moment when winter finally loosens its grip—hopeful, honest, and filled with quiet beauty.
We’re so excited to share these firsts with you, and while we don’t have flowers available on a large scale just yet, it’s only a matter of time before the field is popping with waves of these and other blooms! 💐

Do you ever get so caught up in the busyness of life that you forget to pause and appreciate what’s right in front of you?
This happens to me more often than not, which is why each week, I’ll be sharing a special arrangement featuring the very best of what’s blooming right now on the farm. Think of it as a floral snapshot of the season—a way to watch the blooms shift and grow with us, one bouquet at a time. 🌺
I’m also excited to use this exercise as a way to push the boundaries on my own creativity, as I commit to making something beautiful each weekly just because. 🙌
Whether it’s the first brave blooms of spring or the lush abundance of summer, we can’t wait to share what’s unfolding in real time. Stay tuned each week for what’s fresh, local, and beautifully in season! 💐
This week’s arrangement is all about the quiet, joyful unfolding of early spring. We’ve gathered:
❀ Sunny yellow narcissus – cheerful, fragrant, and always the first to say hello.
❀ Golden forsythia branches – bursting with sunshine-colored blooms that brighten even the cloudiest days.
❀ Foraged branches with leaf buds – tiny green promises of all that’s to come.
Together, they bring the feeling of fresh starts and longer days—hopeful, delicate, and full of life. ☀️
We’re savoring every moment of this season’s slow reveal—and so grateful to be able to share it with you. 🤩

We’ve been getting lots of questions about when flowers will officially be available—and trust us, we’re just as excited as you are! 💐
The short answer: it all depends on the weather. Some things are out of our hands, and right now, Mother Nature is calling the shots. It could be as soon as one week, or we might need to wait a few more. 🤨
We’ll be sure to shout it from the rooftops (and our stories, posts, and emails) as soon as the first blooms are ready to share. Thank you for your patience—and for loving our flowers as much as we do! 🌺

Our backyard garden daffodils are blooming, and that’s always a sign of what’s to come just around the corner! 🌼

Considering preserving your wedding flowers? Here’s something important to keep in mind! 💡
Just like the rest of your wedding plans, booking floral preservation in advance is a must! No matter who you choose, securing your spot early gives you peace of mind and ensures your flowers can be transformed into a lasting keepsake without any extra worries. 🎨
The truth is, we can only take a limited number of preservation bookings at a time—and we’re not alone in that. We’ve had to turn away last-minute requests to preserve wedding flowers, and we absolutely hate doing it! 😞
By booking ahead, you’ll have time to find an available preservation artist instead of scrambling after your flowers are already sitting in water, racing against the clock to start the drying process. 🕰️
Save yourself the stress and lock in your spot early!

Happy first day of Spring! ☀️
It might not appear to be the case if you look outside today, but we have certainly seen and felt the glimpses of the changing seasons, one example being this anemone which recently bloomed from an overwintered plant that went into the ground a year ago. 💐
The countdown to opening day of The Studio by Bella’s Blooms begins now! Our enclosed, self-serve, climate controlled flower stand will be tentatively opening on Mother’s Day weekend for the 2025 season - that is just 50 days from now.
