Walleye fishing has been great the last few days and looks like we are going to have a nice lake thru the weekend. Best reports have been in 70-80 feet of water with the fish down deep. Dark colors such as purple and black crawlers harnesses have been the best. They are still catching a few steelhead thru the night and first thing in the morning before it gets light out. But the heat has slowed that down. We need lots of rain and cooler temps to bring them in. We have golden shiners, bass shiners, fat heads, maggots ,wax worms , meal worms, nightcrawlers, egg sacs, single eggs ,bulk eggs, and much more. Good luck and have a great day.

6/18/2024 We have a great forecast this week with light south winds and waves 1’ or less all week! The walleye fishing is great with lots of nice sized fish. 50-60’ of water out of Walnut Creek access seems to be the most common depths but there are fish spread all over. The Erie Walleye Bash is this Friday 6/21 (optional big fish Friday) and Saturday 6/22 (main event)! We are excepting applications until Thursday at 9pm for big fish Friday, and until Friday at 5pm at the captains meeting at Poor Richards for the main event. We are stocked up on everything you need to hit the lake.

We have had a few days of rough weather but the forecast is starting to improve! There has been limits coming in already this morning from 35’ of water right in front of Walnut Creek access. Bottom bouncers and worm burners are working well along with a lot of other rigs. 5 color leadcore with spoons or renoskys, jets and spoons, bomber 24s w/ 2oz, dipsys with crawler harnesses. There are more short fish in closer and bigger fish out deeper 55-60’. We have night crawlers, shiners, bass shiners, maggots, meal worms, red worms, leeches, flats of night crawlers, and much more.
Don’t forget to register for the upcoming Erie Walleye Bash! Big fish Friday is 6/21 and the main event is 6/22!
