America's Town Crier
Town Crier — spreading news, tales & drama, bell in hand, cool hat atop. (American). Carrying on tradition, one proclamation at a time. DM for booking.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Here ye!
From America’s Town Crier, a most urgent declaration for all good folk of the snow-burdened lands:
Let it be proclaimed that: ______________________ shall be unable to attend their duties upon the morrow, for the wintry gales do howl, and the roads lie cloaked in perilous ice. Your kindness and understanding of their absence are most humbly requested, for your patience and wisdom shine as a beacon to all in these trying times.
Grateful we are for your indulgence and pardon of ______________________’s absence on this wintry day.
With humble gratitude,
America’s Town Crier
(Sanctioned heretoforth by all four seasons and general holiday spirit)
God Save These United States!

As an unusual turn of events, this announcement comes from your loyal Town Crier, who has mysteriously been transformed into one of the best Christmas gifts (or any time gifts) figure and am now speaking from a snowy desk in the miniature realm. Please pardon the peculiar delivery!
We humbly request that you, dear recipient, fill in the blank with your name and submit this excuse to your employer without delay.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

Hear Ye, Hear ye!
It is my distinct honor to invite you, in a virtual manner, to join the Strumila family as we celebrate the birth of Sir Henry the III’s 1st Birthday on this date, in the year of your Lord, two thousand and twenty-one!
For Henry’s birthday, he asks you make a donation to your local animal shelter. Remember, donations don’t always have to be monetary in value. Shelters need blankets, toys, and of course, volunteers (when that’s a thing again)
Happy Birthday, Sir Henry the III!
God Save these United States!

Hear ye, Hear ye, Hear ye!
46 hours until the last cry of the year! 46 Hours!
This last cry is more of an interpretive reading than a cry if we’re being honest.
An interpretive reading is one of which person A would tell person B, or subsequent persons thereof in the general vicinity of person A, a larger scale of a story which may, or may not include the gossip that accompanies said story - a more 18th century crier approach. Whilst we’re on the subject, be it known to ye that the town crier will be evolving for next year - more on that in the future.
I hope you enjoy it, I really do.
I think your children will love it, probably more than you.
I put my heart into it, and that’s really all you need.
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, merry, merry indeed!

A Christmas Carol - A Live Radio Play is SOLD OUT Friday and Saturday. Don't miss your chance on Sunday @ 7PM for the last show! Get tickets now at erieplayhouse.org
Did you know, when a group of town criers get together, it is known as a ‘a bellow of criers’?
