Recipe for Real Estate Success
Having hired a number of real estate agents myself, I saw things that made me want to run the other way. Often, it was the buyer agent pushing me to like this yard or that kitchen, or trying to sell me on a layout that really was not what I wanted. Or the listing agent who clearly underpriced my house, resulting in at least a half dozen full-price offers the first day. None of which went above asking price. Or, when my listing agent actually ended up working for the buyer - without bothering to mention it to me until the day of the closing! I resolved to do better.
Here’s my recipe:
Start with God-given photographic design talents and a heaping spoonful of honesty.
Mix with a cheerful, positive attitude and good work ethic, instilled by parents
Combine those with amazing patience, friendly disposition & genuine concern for others.
Fold in an eagerness to master new skills, and then
Bake under pressure in the Erie, PA housing market for 14 years until
Firm enough on the outside, but still tender inside.
