Sadly, the temps for Saturday will be too cold for us to bring our produce and other products to the . We’re pretty bummed about it. However, we will be accepting preorders soon (for pick-up Wed) so you can still get some of your Thanksgiving essentials. Check back in soon. We’ll be posting a link to our online store when it’s ready.

Even though we know you’ll be missing us, make sure to bundle up and support the other producers who are showing up for you this Saturday. And show them some extra love for braving the cold.

It’s Sunday, which means we’re processing apples again! We went by over in Illinois this week to pick up a few bushels of seconds. While these apples may have some bruises or odd shapes, they are all delicious and work perfectly for making jams and sauces. But the big bonus of stopping by the apple orchard (besides their amazing variety of apples)? They have apple cider slushies!

We love working with other local producers. When you get to know the farmers that produce your food, you get to see them as hardworking humans and not just parts in some giant, unseen machine. The local food system is awesome.

Since we’re expecting a frost tonight, we’re still out in the fields in our headlamps covering sensitive crops so we can continue to harvest them in the future despite the cold. We’ve picked our pepper and field tomato plants clean. We’ll be super tired at market tomorrow, but buying a bunch of our produce will surely cheer us up!
