Hello folks! We are working on making a list for host schools to use if they are in need of a reader. So, if you have Quiz Bowl reading experience or are willing to learn and have a great projecting voice send Erika an email with your name, region of the state or city willing to volunteer in and she will get you added.

Every year I am amazed at how many students show up for our last event of the year. Three days, 60 different test options, 1919 tests taken, and 770 individual competitors. I have emailed detailed results to all coaches! Tomorrow I will work on invoices and packing awards. For now, thank you to the coaches and parents that drive their kids to this event. Thank you to my staff for keeping things going smoothly. Thank-you to Stacy for keeping me semi-sane all year, she tries her hardest but its a tough job.
It is time for me to enjoy some rest before coaches conference and changes for next year! Goodnight folks!

A bit of a close call for the OAAC directors last night. This is from my brother's house which is about 4 miles south of me. Grateful for everyone that checked in on me!

Wow! We had students complete 1616 tests over two days, and there were 564 Individual students! We had almost 600 registered, but we know things arise, and some students did not make it to the event. This year, 5 new schools joined us for the very first time, and this is always exciting as we want to make this accessible to all schools! Detailed results have been sent to coaches, so check with them to know your student's final rank if they are not on the top 10 list. We could not do this without Rose State College and our room monitors, so thank you to all of them! Time for this director to get some rest before tomorrow's big packing day of awards. We will get all awards mailed this week unless your school or student had a tie in the top 3, and we need to get more awards, or you ordered a post-tournament shirt/hoodie!

See you all next year!
