Taking place July 14 at De Anza College, SVV Summer Camp will feature keynote presentations from Emmy-winning journalist and bestselling author David Pogue and AI media strategist Andy Beach. Additional panels and presentations throughout the day will tackle topics including AI-powered production tools, vertical-first content creation, self-serve creator studios, hybrid event production, unified workflows, and the future of enterprise broadcast technology.

ASG Promotes Joe Marchitto to Western Regional CTO

Emeryville, Calif., June 1st, 2026 — Advanced Systems Group - ASG, a technology and services provider for media creatives and content owners, announced the promotion of Joe Marchitto to Western Regional CTO. In this new leadership role, Marchitto’s focus will be on advancing tools, workflows, and engineering alignment across the organization.

Marchitto will oversee the management and evolution of ASG’s system design across both pre- and post-sales functions to streamline project ex*****on, deepen engineering engagement, and deliver a more seamless and responsive client experience. He will work closely with ASG Professional Services Manager Rob Wentz to align team objectives for the upcoming year, while continuing to support pre-sales engineering on the West Coast.

ASG Welcomes Brian Gross, Strengthening Audio Team with Deep Music Recording Expertise

Emeryville, Calif., May 26, 2026 — Advanced Systems Group - ASG, a technology and services provider for media creatives and content owners, announced that Brian Gross has joined the company as an Account Manager in its award-winning Audio team. He is based in the ASG Burbank office.

Gross brings a unique blend of hands-on studio experience, technical knowledge, and client-focused insight. He joins Hamid "Gadget" Hopkins' (Director of Audio and Post) team and will support clients across a wide range of applications, from music recording and studio design to immersive audio.

With a career rooted in recording studios, music production, and audio post, Gross has designed, built, and run commercial recording facilities. He has an intuitive understanding of how technology should foster, not obstruct, the creative process. “I love music technology, but when I’m working with clients, it’s not just about selling equipment,” Gross explained. “I’ve been in their shoes. I know the problems they’re trying to solve, and I know how to get them there. I’m the first person to say when they don’t need something. It’s about nurturing relationships and providing real value to people.”
