Healthy Investments into the Whole Person
A message to our dear friends and supporters of Jewel David Ministries Counseling Center.
The JDM Counseling Center quickly transitioned to telehealth style counseling sessions near the end of March as a means to reduce transmission of COVID 19.
Our clients and many new clients have benefited and continue to benefit from access to affordable professional counseling services during this time of the “shelter in place” mandate.
Many new stressors have entered the lives of clients and added to their burden and need for stress management and strategies for managing anxiety, anger and depression.
JDM has opened our “phones” for continued counseling services to maintain continuity of treatment and to invite those who need some extra support during this time. In addition, we began posting a free daily “Thought Journal” to our page on April 1.
The Thought Journal is a free tool open to anyone to use as a means to process thoughts, reflect and as an outlet for stress and anxiety.
We are deeply thankful to our donors and open up this request to our community.
Your financial support is needed to help us continue our mission to serve the underserved with one very important and overlooked component of emotional health as part of a person’s “whole” self-health.
