Rylan Cherry is home recovering and getting healed up so he can enter up! Thanks to all those who have been praying for him. All went well.

I’d like to welcome HilaryLoBue to the “boys club.” Lol. She will be representing the Buckin Good Barn in Barrel Racing…. So that makes her, a “Buckin Good Barrel Racer.” 😝😝.
Here is Hilary’s bio I want to share with you,
My name is Hilary LoBue, and I call Rockdale, Texas, home. I love rodeoing with my mare, Lucy (Teller Im Fabulous). She has helped me achieve so many goals, including earning the 2023 WPRA Texas Permit Champion title. Rodeo is truly a family affair for us—if you see me, you’ll probably see my daughter right by my side. My best advice is to chase your dreams and never give up. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13.
So the next time you’re at a rodeo, make sure you are cheering on the BUCKIN GOOD Guys and Gal!!! We sure are proud of them!

Good morning all you fabulous Buckin Good Peeps!! Yall weathered the weather and came out to support!! ❤️❤️❤️we had a wonderful night! Those of you who got here early were treated to a test tasting of what my mother calls,”Presidio Onion Rings.” I believe they were well liked. We will get them on the menu soon for an option to order.

In our news on our Buckin Good Guys, Rylan Cherry has been keeping the leaderboard 🔥! He split 2nd in Crossett, Arkansas with a score of 74. He also split 2nd in McKinney, Texas, the Celine PRCA rodeo, with a score of 84.5!!! Outstanding young man!! He will be having repair surgery on his free arm, but he will be up and running in no time. The other two guys haven’t gotten back with me on their accomplishments yet, but when I get them, I’ll be sure to let yall know.

This week in rodeo land, we will be heading to Llano UPRA/ CPRA with one trailer and on Saturday another trailer will be headed out to the “Mula Festival “ in Stephenville, Texas. We pray for safe travels, healthy sheep and good grip little contestants.

Buckin Good Bits- Always remember your success depends on what God has planned for you. If HE is for it, it will happen, if HE is not, you can’t make it happen. I have experienced this firsthand many times. I wish I would just have more patience sometimes letting HIM do HIS thing😩🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Mark, Decotah and I owe so much to our supporters for making great things happen in our life and we know, without a shadow of a doubt, God is the one who put them in our paths.
If it’s been awhile since I said it, I’ll say it again as a reminder….THANK YOU!!

Yesterday when we were picking up sheep from McKinney, we decided to stroll around and see what all they had going on. Shipping containers turned into bars and VIP seating, to housing vendor spots cut out, was a new use of shipping containers , that I had never seen before. The arena was nice and big, seating perfectly positioned for a good view of the different events. A great rodeo put on by Mr. Andrews and company.
Then we walked over to the list Thank You’s on the banners , and guess whose name was on the banner??? Mark Jackson contractor for mutton bustin??!! Usually he is never mentioned, as he is just part of the rodeo and the stock contractor that is producing the rodeo. It was real nice to see his name mentioned for the work he has put in to make this company a go. An event people LOVE to watch and parents are incredibly excited to have their child participate in, is getting recognition.
He hasn’t done it for the recognition and the stock contractors he has worked for are very complementary, but we were shocked to see his name on the banner for “stock contractor.”
What a nice surprise.
Thank you Celine PRCA. We will be back next year and everyone has done a fabulous job producing this rodeo.
