⛈️Well, friends, we’ve been watching the forecast all week and hoping for a miracle.

Unfortunately, with storms and rain expected throughout the weekend, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this Sunday’s Summer Luna Market.

We’re disappointed not to gather with all of you, but the safety and comfort of our vendors, musicians, volunteers, and guests comes first.

Thank you to everyone who planned to join us and to our incredible makers who have spent weeks preparing for the market. We appreciate you more than you know.

We’ll be back with our Winter Night Market on December 4, and we hope you’ll join us then for an evening of community, creativity, and a little holiday magic.

If you’ve visited Luna Market before, you may remember us popping up in a few different spots around downtown Elgin over the years.

This time, you’ll find us just over half a mile from Main Street at:

There is limited parking in the lot, but plenty of street parking nearby. Please be mindful of driveways, mailboxes, and our neighbors when parking.

Dress for warm weather, bring a water bottle, pack a picnic blanket or camp chair if you’d like, and plan to stay awhile.

We know — that word gets tossed around a lot. But after seven years of markets, we’ve seen what it actually looks like: the hugs at load-in, the chatter between vendors before booths even go up, the vendors who come back year after year not just to sell, but to belong.

That’s what we’ve been quietly building in Elgin. A place where local creativity gets its moment, where neighbors become regulars, and where a summer afternoon can still feel unhurried.

The Alicia Adkins Duo — Alicia Adkins & Jack Kimbrough Reid ()— bringing a whole lotta twang to the market. With a mix of old-time originals and traditional country western songs, their sound is warm, lively, and rooted in storytelling. The kind of music that invites you to slow down, stay awhile, maybe sway a little as the day unfolds.

We’re bringing a little extra to the market this year ✨ — starting with the first of two afternoon sets:

Lost In Harmony — the musical collaboration of JustHannah (.tx) and Mike Kiddoo — creates something organic, sweet, and a little hard to define in the best way.

Blending ukulele, keys, guitars, and layered vocals, their sound drifts somewhere between folk-pop, soft rock, and alt-country.

They’ve played the Elgin Music Festival, Smithville Folk Music Festival, and appeared live on KEOS out of Bryan, Texas. As they prepare for their first tour, the duo is also putting the finishing touches on their debut single, Timeless Love.

We’re taking those tiny Blue Bell cups and jamming a Cadbury Flake bar straight into the middle like God intended. Is it refined? Absolutely not. Is it the best thing you’ll eat today? We’d bet the library on it.

Part English seaside nostalgia. Part Texas gas station energy. Part church fundraiser dessert table. 🤠🇬🇧All profits benefit the Friends of the Elgin Public Library, which frankly makes it even better.
