Meet Tycho! ❤️ Tycho is a handsome ~6–7-month-old, 30-pound Plott Hound/Dutch Shepherd mix with the sweetest soul. This boy is incredibly loving and people-oriented, and once he bonds with you, he’ll want nothing more than to be by your side.

Tycho can be a little reserved when faced with new environments, or busy surroundings. He’s still learning that the big world isn’t quite as scary as it seems, and he’ll thrive with a patient family who can help him build confidence through positive experiences, continued socialization, and basic obedience training. Because of his sensitivity in new environments, a quieter home away from the hustle and bustle of city life would be the best fit for him.

Tycho absolutely loves the companionship of other dogs and gains confidence from having canine friends around. We’d love to see him in a home with another playful, social dog who can be his buddy and help show him the ropes.

He has not yet been tested with cats or children, but given his young age and sweet nature, he may do well growing up alongside either with proper introductions and supervision.

Like any young pup, Tycho will need a family committed to all things puppy—including continued house training, basic obedience, socialization, and helping him learn how to navigate the world with confidence. Meet Queenie! ❤️ Queenie is a ~6.5-year-old, 110-pound Boerboel who is ready to leave kennel life behind and spend her golden years in the loving home she deserves.

Queenie came to us as an owner surrender, and while she is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl, the kennel environment has been stressful for her. She bonds deeply with her people and is happiest when she can be close to them. What Queenie really wants is a comfortable bed, a quiet home, a sunny spot in the yard, and a person to love.

Queenie is a fairly low-maintenance girl who would be perfectly content spending her days relaxing around the house, lounging with her people, and enjoying leisurely walks here and there. She would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where she can decompress and settle into a routine. A quiet or rural setting would be ideal for her, and she would not be a good fit for a busy city environment. Because of her age and giant-breed size, she will also need a home without stairs that she would need to navigate regularly.

Queenie does well on walks, but she is a very strong girl and does have a prey drive. Her adopters will need to be experienced with large, powerful breeds and physically capable of handling her size and strength. Queenie can not live with small dogs or cats.

Queenie as surrendered to us with Ozzie, a male Cane Corso. They can be adopted together, but because they are protective of one another, they would need to be the only dogs in the home. They can also be adopted separately into homes where they can each be the center of attention and soak up all the love they deserve.

Dash is a 6-month-old, 30 lb Labrador Retriever mix puppy who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. He is an incredibly sweet, goofy, cuddly boy who adores his people. Once he feels comfortable with you, Dash is all about love, affection, and being close to his favorite humans.

Dash loves playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with another confident, well-adjusted dog who can be his playmate and help show him the ropes. He is still very shy and is gaining confidence with the outside world, so having a canine role model will be especially helpful as he learns that new experiences can be fun.

Dash will need a patient family who is ready to start from scratch with puppy training, including house training, basic obedience, socialization, confidence building, and good manners. Delta is an 8-month-old, approximately 16–20 lb Min Pin/Terrier mix puppy who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. She is a sweet, happy, playful little girl with a soft coat and a whole lot of personality!

Delta is a smart cookie who loves to play, cuddle, and spend time with her people. She also loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful, compatible canine companion in her new home. If she’s an only dog, her family should be committed to providing plenty of opportunities for continued socialization and play with other dogs.

As a puppy, Delta will need a family ready to provide the structure, consistency, training, socialization, and guidance she needs to grow into her best adult dog. She’s smart and eager to learn, so she’ll be a fun dog to train and watch grow.

Theo is a 2-year-old, 11 lb Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix who came to us from a shelter. He’s a charming, sweet little guy who absolutely loves his people and is happiest being held, cuddled, or curled up in his person’s lap.

Treats are definitely the way to his heart! This little guy is very treat motivated and highly trainable. Put a treat in your hand and you’ll have Theo’s full attention! He would be a lot of fun for someone who enjoys teaching tricks, working on obedience, and keeping their dog mentally engaged. He’s smart, eager to learn, and has the potential to go a long way with training.

Theo also loves going for walks and is a confident little explorer. He enjoys getting out and about with his people and taking in everything around him.

Theo can do well with other dogs, although he can be a little spicy and occasionally likes to think he’s in charge. He does best with slow, thoughtful introductions, and he’s been working on his socialization and dog-to-dog communication skills.

Rucker is a 5-year-old, 90 lb Black and Tan Coonhound/Lab mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. He’s a super sweet, happy, goofy guy who is ready to find a family of his own!

Rucker is treat motivated and already knows sit. He loves going for walks and exploring, and he definitely has that classic hound spirit—curious, independent, and occasionally a little stubborn when he has his own ideas about where the adventure should go! He has the hound personality without the hound volume though—Rucker isn’t a big baying or noisy guy.

Rucker came to us overweight, so he’s currently working on getting into healthier shape. His future family will need to be committed to continuing his weight-loss journey with regular exercise, appropriate portions, and a healthy lifestyle. Daily walks and adventures would be right up his alley.

He has done well with other dogs and would enjoy having a compatible canine companion, although he’d also be happy being his people’s adventure buddy as an only dog with continued socialization. Rucker is a big, strong guy, and will need an adopter who can handle the strength that comes with a larger pup.

Her adopters should be committed to providing the consistent training, structure, and socialization needed to help her become her best adult dog. Jett will walk on leash, although he needs some encouragement and confidence-building. Busy, loud environments can be overwhelming for him right now, so a quieter neighborhood would be ideal while he continues to gain confidence and learn that the world is a fun place.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Say hello to Rock! He is a beautiful and sweet 90lb, ~2 yo, Cane Corso/Rottweiler/Lab mix. He came to us from California in hopes of finding his forever family!

Rock is an all around awesome dog! He is friendly, goofy, playful, and a good time! He is a very strong boy, so will need adopters who are experienced with large breeds and can handle him.

Rock has a great demeanor, and life-of-the-party personality. He loves people, making new friends, and dogs too! He has done great with dogs in our care and is playful. He can be a little vocal and excited when meeting dogs for the first time, but he just wants to say hello!

Rock will thrive in a home that can continue basic obedience, and be social with him. He enjoys walks, meeting people, attention and treats!

Since Rock is a big and bouncy boy, we are recommending older kids. He could knock over or accidentally hurt a small child due to his size. He is not tested with cats.
